Multifunctional Photoelectric Synergistic Catalytic Reactor
The photoelectrochemical high‑pressure reactor manufactured by Shanghai Yanzheng leverages the synergistic effects of photon and electron to enhance the catalytic activity of photocatalytic materials. By immobilizing the catalyst on a conductive substrate and applying an external bias voltage to suppress the recombination of photogenerated electrons and holes, a new technology has been developed—electrochemically assisted photocatalysis, also known as photoelectrocatalysis. This approach effectively promotes the separation of photogenerated electrons and holes and utilizes the synergistic interplay between light and electricity to boost photocatalytic oxidation. When a photocatalyst is used as the photoanode and subjected to a specific bias voltage, photogenerated electrons migrate to the external circuit, thereby inhibiting electron–hole recombination. Meanwhile, holes accumulate on the catalyst’s surface, further enhancing the catalyst’s activity.

Shanghai Yanzheng’s fully transparent high‑pressure reactors are available in two material options: sapphire or quartz glass, both offering excellent pressure resistance and visual transparency. The fully transparent design provides superior light transmission, allowing for clear visualization under high pressure. The polyester polymerization reactor is a reaction vessel used for synthesizing high‑molecular‑weight compounds, encompassing both esterification and polycondensation reactions. It is primarily employed in the fields of resin, rubber, plastics, and other high‑polymer materials. Esterification is a reaction in which alcohols react with carboxylic acids or inorganic oxygen‑containing acids under specific temperature and pressure conditions to produce esters and water; the water is condensed and collected after passing through a reflux column, while the alcohol is returned to the reactor. Polycondensation refers to a reaction in which one or more monomers undergo condensation to form a high‑molecular‑weight polymer. The primary product of this reaction is known as a polycondensate. During polycondensation, temperature and vacuum are gradually increased; the alcohol produced during the reaction is discharged from the reactor, condensed, and collected, ultimately leaving the polycondensate in the reactor. After the experiment is completed, the bottom discharge port is opened for operations such as material discharge, fiber drawing, and pellet cutting.
