Nylon Polymerization Reactor
This unit is a polyester polymerization reactor with a designed capacity of 3 L. It is heated using a high‑ and low‑temperature circulating oil bath, which features programmable temperature control. The main body of the equipment is made from 316L stainless steel. The reactor’s stirring speed can reach up to 500 rpm at 100 mPa·s and 100 rpm at 50,000 mPa·s, employing an anchor‑type impeller equipped with scrapers to effectively handle high‑viscosity materials while minimizing fouling and carbonization on the reactor walls. The reactor is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 1 MPa, with a maximum allowable working pressure of 0.6 MPa; its design temperature is 300°C, while the recommended operating temperature is 220°C. The system is equipped with a vacuum pumping system, allowing for vacuuming during experiments, with the empty vessel achieving a vacuum level as low as 50 Pa. The unit utilizes PLC‑plus touch‑screen configuration for control, enabling real‑time monitoring of process parameters such as sensor readings, temperature profiles, and pressure curves, as well as data export for further analysis and processing.
