The co-precipitation reactor for ternary precursors is a core piece of equipment in lithium-ion battery production. The automated pH-controlled co-precipitation reactor for ternary precursors has undergone further improvements in areas such as stirring, gas protection, and overflow mechanisms. When the reaction feedstock enters the reactor, it mixes rapidly and exhibits excellent dispersion, resulting in uniform elemental distribution, strong solid-solution homogeneity, good sphericity, and technical performance metrics—including tap density—that all meet superior standards. The size of the reactor vessel can be customized according to specific requirements. The reactor interior can be equipped with either 2D or 3D cameras to capture real-time images of the material’s forming process.

    Reaction vessel opening

    The pot lid is equipped with eight openings: three feed ports, one pH meter port (complete with an online pH electrode), a stirrer port fitted with a stirrer, an air inlet, an exhaust port, and a temperature measurement port equipped with a thermocouple. The pressure gauge port is fitted with a pressure gauge.

    pH Control System

    Control range: 2–14 pH ± 0.05 pH; Resolution: 0.01 pH.

    Peristaltic pump

    Flow range: 0.08 ml/min; feed rate is adjustable, with a timer setting from 0.1 to 99 hours.

    Temperature Control Circulation System

    Imported heating element, temperature control range: 30–70°C, temperature control accuracy: ±0.5°C.

    Control System

    9-inch true-color touch screen plus Japanese Mitsubishi PLC control enables online monitoring of temperature, pressure, stirring speed, and feed rate within the reactor. Users simply enter the setpoints to achieve unattended, automated reactions.
