Yan Zheng Instruments’ polyester polymerization reactor features one 0.5 L reactor and one 3 L reactor, both sharing a single oil bath and esterification–polycondensation system. The two reactors are never used simultaneously. Heating is achieved via a high–low temperature circulating oil bath unit, which boasts programmable temperature control. The main body of the equipment is made from 316L stainless steel and is equipped with anchor-type agitators and high-torque mixers, making it suitable for handling high-viscosity materials. The reactor is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 3 MPa, with an allowable working pressure range of -0.1 to 2 MPa. The vacuum system comprises one low‑speed vacuum pump and one high‑speed vacuum pump, each dedicated to different stages of the process—initial slow vacuum extraction and subsequent high‑vacuum reactions. The system employs PLC-based control combined with a touch screen interface, enabling real‑time monitoring of process parameters such as sensor readings, temperature profiles, and pressure curves, while also allowing data export for further analysis and processing.
