Dynamic Tubular Reactor

The Dynamic Tubular Reactor is a piece of equipment used for chemical reactions, featuring a unique structure and operational characteristics. It is particularly suited for continuous-flow reactions where solid precipitates are formed during the reaction process.  Reactants enter the tubular reactor at a constant flow rate from one end; as they flow through the pipe, chemical reactions take place, and the reaction products exit from the other end. Unlike conventional tubular reactors, the dynamic tubular reactor may induce dynamic changes in the reaction system through various means—such as adjusting flow rate, temperature, or pressure—or by employing special designs that generate periodic disturbances or oscillations within the fluid inside the tube, thereby enhancing the reaction process.

Plate-type Flow Photoreactor

The plate‑type flow photochemical reactor is a novel reaction device that integrates the structural design of plate reactors with continuous flow technology, while leveraging the principles of photochemistry. The following will explore its structure, operating principles, advantages, and applications. In a plate‑type flow photochemical reactor, light of a specific wavelength emitted by the light source is focused or uniformly distributed throughout the plate‑shaped microchannels via an optical system. Driven by a micro‑pump, the reactants enter the microchannels at a constant flow rate, forming a thin‑layer flow that significantly increases the contact area between the reactants, the photocatalyst, and the light. Reactant molecules excited by light come into contact with the catalyst within the channels, generating active intermediates such as free radicals and holes, which in turn trigger photochemical reactions including oxidation, reduction, or substitution.

Dynamic Tubular Reactor

The dynamic tubular reactor utilizes the intense shear forces generated by high‑speed stirring to break up and thoroughly mix the materials flowing along the inner wall of the reactor, achieving efficient mixing and rapid reaction. It is suitable for reactions with viscosities ranging from 0 to 3000 cP, offering a broad application scope. Featuring a dual‑layer heat exchange design—where the central stirring system and the outer jacket work in tandem—the effective heat transfer area is increased fivefold. This reactor is applicable to homogeneous, heterogeneous, or multiphase reactions, effectively enhancing the reaction interface and promoting mass transfer. It is particularly well suited for reactions involving solids or slurries, enabling the production of solids with a uniform particle size distribution.

Dynamic Disc Reactor

The dynamic disc microreactor features a stator housing and one or more rotating discs, with a gap of 0.5 mm to 2 mm between the housing and the rotating discs. Thanks to the high-speed gradients generated by the rotating discs within this narrow gap, substantial shear forces can be imparted to the fluid flowing between the housing and the rotating disc surfaces, thereby enhancing heat and mass transfer while rapidly homogenizing concentration and temperature variations at the microscale. It is particularly well suited for gas–liquid, liquid–liquid, and solid–liquid reactions, and represents the first microreactor capable of accommodating solid-phase participation.
