With a catalyst loading capacity of 5 mL, it enables research on hydrogenation and dehydrogenation processes. The entire hydrogen storage feedstock is continuously heated throughout the process, then enters a liquid distribution module where it is evenly split into four streams with a distribution accuracy of 1% RSD. After distribution, the streams rapidly flow into a four‑channel reactor for reaction, achieving a temperature uniformity of ±0.5°C between channels. Independent fresh sample collection is performed at the reactor outlet, followed by gas–liquid separation of the product; the gaseous phase is then routed to a pressure‑controlled system before being discharged as tail gas.

This unit is a fixed-bed hydrogenation catalyst evaluation system developed by Yanzheng for the school, designed to optimize operating parameters and assess catalyst performance under laboratory conditions. The system consists of a single liquid feed line and four gas feed lines, one of which is used for sparging. The reactor is made of 310S stainless steel and can operate under two sets of conditions: high‑temperature, atmospheric pressure (1000°C at ambient pressure) and high‑temperature, high‑pressure (500°C at 10 MPa). The entire system is housed in a modular skid-mounted aluminum frame, with acrylic panels installed around the perimeter and a vent outlet on the top, which can be connected to the laboratory’s exhaust duct. This design prevents experimental materials from escaping into the entire lab, thereby enhancing experimental safety. The system employs a PLC‑plus‑computer control architecture to manage the test setup, collect data, and perform data management, offering functions such as equipment status monitoring, parameter adjustment, curve visualization, data storage and export, as well as alarm notifications.
